Class Guidelines

Class Guidelines
  • The yoga studio is a silent room, please consider those who may need that quiet time.
  • Please do not bring your mobile phone into the studio, rather leave it in the change room on silent.
  • Try arrive 10-15 minutes before class begins to register and to settle yourself.
  • Once class starts the door will be closed.
  • Daily lockers are available for your valuables, please ask for a lock if you need one.
  • If you have reserved a space in a class and find that you can no longer make it, please call us to cancel, someone else may be waiting for your space.

Mats & Towels
For greater hygiene we encourage students to practice on their own mat and use their own towels. If you do not own a yoga mat you may rent one for RMB 10 or, if you wish to purchase from us, we have high quality Eco Mats, towels and bags in assorted colors on offer.

Below are some of the more common physical and psychological benefits from regular yoga practice:

Class Suggestions
  • Try not to eat 2-3 hours before class, yoga is best enjoyed on an empty stomach.
  • Arrive 10-15 minutes before the class starts, it will give you time to register, change and settle yourself.
  • Drink water before the class.
  • Make sure to inform your teachers of any recent injuries or illnesses.
  • Try out different classes to see which one suites you best. (They may need more than one try.)
  • Practice regularly; once a week is good, 2 or 3 times is better to assist a more balanced development of your practice.
  • It is not advisable to practice yoga if you are sick, (including flu). Please check with your health practitioner if you have other symptoms that may interfere with your practice.

Injuries & Communication with Teachers

Injuries and illnesses are an important consideration for all students and teachers. We urge you to inform your teachers before class starts about any injuries or illnesses. 
Please be sure to arrive early enough for class to discuss your situation with your teacher, in this way you can benefit from maximum time in class.

Teachers will make themselves available to students for questions for an appropriate period of time before and after each class. Please use this time to let your teachers know if you have any injuries or problems that they should be aware of.
